Dear Ken,

Congratulations on the excellent molecular evdience for the presence of L
donovani/infantum sequence in the peripheral blood samples of a dog from
Bangladesh. rK39 seropositivity of dog sera will certainly further
strengthen your interpretation.

Is the cytochrome b sequence of the dog sample you obtained indentical to
those from India and Srilanka ? Is it also 100% identical to that of VL
isolates from Eastern Africa ?
