Everyone,

Hello.  I am a graduate student at USUHS, Bethesda, MD studying the molecular and morphometric attributes of the sand fly Lutzomyia shannoni.  I wanted to post this quick note on the list server: Does anyone have any preserved specimens of Lu. shannoni from a collection location south of Mexico?  The sand flies need to be preserved in at least 70% alcohol since molecular work is to  be conducted.  If anyone has a jar or two of pickled specimens that they can spare, please reply back.  Thanks.
