The English (?) translation

The sun lies down, it is the hour when the
phlebotomus, small hairy insect with the large
yellow eyes living in the intestine of the dog,
pricks the man who passes and Leishmania infantum
transmits to him incidentally. A viral disease
difficult to treat, which results in a fever, a
slimming, an inflation of spleen, and sometimes
death. The leishmaniose, which can be mortal,
makes a score of victims per annum in
Metropolitan France, especially in the South, and not of vaccine.
