Professor Roux's passing is a great loss to us all !

My deepest condolences to his family and to all leishmaniacs who treasure
his significant contributions to Leishmania and leishmaniasis.

I remember I used to receiving his yearly greeting cards, each signed by
the whole team of his lab. We met in various meetings, but didn't really
speak to each other literally and always depended on the late professor
Killick-Kendrick's translation. Now, I imagine they are together up there
talking to each other happily in French.
