	N.I.H. Postdoctoral Position/Cell and Molecular Biology of
Leishmania
		
				Postdoctoral Fellowship available for recent
Ph.D. in molecular biology, biochemistry or microbiology. Successful
candidate will join active group studying the cell biology of Leishmania and
related trypanosomatid parasites (a group of parasitic protozoa causing
human disease). Ongoing projects areas include: 1) characterization of
secretory and surface membrane enzymes critical to parasite growth,
development and survival; 2) molecular dissection of genes encoding /
regulating such  proteins, 3) developmental expression and cellular
targeting of such proteins and 4) functional characterization of components
of both the  endo- and exocytic pathways in these organisms.
				NOTE: Fellowships available only to those
with less than 3 years of postdoctoral experience. Salary is contingent upon
experience starting at  $33,000 per year.
