Dear all,

We are pleased to announce "The Leishmania Proteome Classification and
Analysis" web pages as an addition to the Leishmania Genome Network Home
Page hosted by EBI.

These pages replace the previous Genome Directory pages and can be found
online at :-

http://www.ebi.ac.uk/parasites/LGN/Proteome/proteome.html

The pages are updated on a regular basis and currently include:-

- a functional catalogue of all current Leishmania protein sequences

- a facility to search the Leishmania protein sequence titles and
additional annotation for any string of letters and/or numbers

- a catalogue of Leishmania protein sequences placed in key biochemical
pathways

- a catalogue of Leishmania protein sequences placed in general
protein/enzyme classes

- a facility to search the Leishmania protein sequences using a user
defined motif

- a catalogue of Pfam domains found in Leishmania

A catalogue of Leishmania protein sequences placed according to
sub-cellular localisation will follow in the near future.

Please send comments, suggestions and questions to Martin Aslett
(aslett at ebi.ac.uk) and Al Ivens (alicat at sanger.ac.uk).

Thanks,

Martin Aslett,
