Hi Christian,

Thanks for answering the question. Your point is sharp and clear. Let's see
if someone else would like to comment on this view.

However, there is the general indiscriminate use of both terms in many
papers; some authors prefer one or the other but the theme regarding these
anti-inflammatory cytokines is full of mixed usage. For instance, I was
consulting the book "Interleukin-10 in Health and Disease" by Fillatreau
and O'Garra and both denominations are widespread in the book. The term
"anti-inflammatory" was cited 37 times and "regulatory" 240. Hira Nagashi
thinks IL-10 is regulatory but IL-4 and TGF-beta are anti-inflammatory.
