Dear Martin

Thanks for informing us. Venezuela and, more specifically, the Institute of Biomedicine of Caracas can be proud of the fantastic worldwide scientific contribution of its director Prof Jacinto Convit!  All the “leishmaniac” community will remember him. It is a great loss!

May his soul rest in peace.
