[Jean-Pierre Dedet]

I am sad to ear about Professor Jacinto Convit passing away.
He had a remarkable long lasting life devoted to medical research. All  
of us who approached him, keep in mind his human qualities associated  
to his large scientific competence. His disappearance will generate a  
great loss in the scientific community.
I offer my condolences to his family, his disciples and the  
Venezuelian scientists.
