Dear Dr. Rowton,

Thank you very much for this useful information. In fact we are thinking to establish an entomology lab for sandfly in our study site in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Unfortunately here we have no one who can help us. I will be very grateful to you if you kindly support and guide us to achieve this goal.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Dr. Dinesh Mondal MD, PhD

Hi Folks, The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and the NIAID are looking into the possibility of setting up a repository for sand flies. The first issue is: Is there a need for such an asset in the research community and how many investigators would use it. If you foresee a need for sand flies in your future research plans or have comments about such a repository in general please reply. This information will be helpful in making a decision on whether or not to proceed.
