Ist international conference on ³ Global Challenges for New Drug Discovery
Against Tropical Parasitic Diseases² at Cancum Mexico during December 11-15,
2011. This conference shall be managed by ³ Zing Conferences²
(http://www.zingconferences.com/) and cover broad topics of new
antiparasitic drug discovery.

We are pleased to invite all the researchers to submit abstracts for
oral/poster presentations. This is a highly cost-effective all inclusive
conference. We would appreciate if you can please forward the conference
details attached to the members of your research institute and also post it
on display/notice boards. Leading global experts are expected to attend this

(Chairs/organizers- Professor Babu Tekwani & Professor Dennis Kyle USA)
Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentations.
The tropical parasitic diseases are responsible for staggering morbidity and
millions of deaths every year, especially in the tropical regions of the
word. Although incidences of these diseases are mostly centered in tropical
regions the socioeconomic and public health impacts of tropical parasitic
diseases are global. Emergence and spread of drug-resistant and more
virulent strains of the parasites have further intensified the problem.
Despite of the heavy burden on humanity the tropical parasitic diseases have
been mostly ignored in relation to advances in modern drug discovery.
Improved global attention with increasing funding opportunities through
public and non-profit organizations as well as emergence of public-private
partnerships for development of strategies to monitor, treat, control and
eliminate neglected tropical parasitic diseases have generated unprecedented
interests in new programs on discovery and development of drugs/vaccines.
This conference shall focus on multidisciplinary efforts directed against
control, treatments and elimination of neglected parasitic diseases namely,
Malaria, Leishmaniases (Old and New World), Human African Trypanosomiasis
and Chagas Disease). Different scientific sessions will be organized
specifically (but not limited to) focusing on the following topics-
o Global programs in neglected tropical infectious diseases,
o Drug Resistance: Monitoring, treatment and containment programs
o Translational research: from bench-side to bed-side
o Enriching the drug-discovery pipeline-
Structural/Molecular/cell biology, biochemistry and therapeutics
Chemical biology/ Medicinal chemistry and therapeutics
o In vitro/in vivo pharmacology and efficacy models.
o Parasite genomes/targets data-bases.
o Multidisciplinary discovery/development programs and
o Global funding & collaboration opportunities
