Some subscribers were concerned that two recent emails were in
Portuguese and not English.

These were forwarded to Leish-L at the request of their senders.
Both (Re: [Leish-l] Fwd: Concurso Parasitologia - FMRP; Re:
[Leish-l] Fwd: Anúncio para professores da área médica) are
announcemnts of two lecutureships, one at the University of São
Paulo's Riberão Preto Campus and the other at the São Lucas's Medical
Faculty in Porto Velho, Rondonia.

The are university teaching posts aimed at Portuguese speakers.

Worldlingo offers a free online translation service for a
limited number of words:
For emails its better to paste the section of the email that needs
to be translated into a new document and then use the document
translation option. The results are not great but it gives you an idea
the overall message.

In general emails that appear in say Portuguese or Spanish are
aimed at people who speak the languages otherwise they would be in
English.

Unfortunately our system does not have a filter for selecting
subscribers in particular countries.

With best wishes
Jeffrey Shaw
