I have one technician's position (Research and developmental biologist)
available to work on in vitro antielsihmania screening (promastigote, axenic
amastigotes and macrophage amastigotes assays). The candidate should be BS
(preferably MS) in biological sciences with at least 1 year's experience of
working with cell culture techniques. The candidate with prior experience of
working with leishmania or eukayotic pathogens (malaria/trypanosomes) or
96-well microplate assays will be preferred.
There is also an opening for a post-doctoral associate to work on leishmania
and malarial targets. The candidate should be Ph.D. in
biochemistry/microbiology/biotechnology/pharmacology/parasitology with
experience in molecular biology (cloning, over-expression and functional
characterization of recombinant proteins). Experience in cell biology
(immuno-localization) is desired.
