  I am deeply saddened to hear that Dr. Amar Bhaduri passed away. This is
  an unexpected news. Dr. Bhaduri was my friend and colleague for decades.
  He is a biochemist and former Director of Indian Institute of Chemical
  Biology, Calcutta, India. He and his colleagues published many excellent
  articles on Leishmania plasma membranes and transport mechanisms. He
  represented our Indian colleagues as a member in the Scientific
  Committee of WorldLeish II. He will be missed by us all.
