colony):    P. duboscqi (senya and senegal): reared since 1983
            P. schwetzi; S. clydei; S. africana;S. antenata
            Currently struggling to bring up P. martini colony

Site of origin (for each species and strain): Marigat, Baringpo District of 
Kenya

Approximate number of generations in colony:  > 50 ie since 1983
Larval diet used:   rabbit feces+rabbit chow, Young  et al 1981 J.Med. 
Entomol,85(5),446

Adult diet used (hamster, membrane,) type of sugar meal: Karo and apples

Rearing temperature and relative humidity: 26 centigrades, RH 80-90%RH

Light Dark Cycle (12light/12dark)

We are at the moment interested in collaborating with 
individuals/Institutions involved in L. donovani and vectors.
