Dear all,

We are pleased to announce "The Leishmania major Friedlin Proteome
Classification and Analysis" web pages as part of the WHO parasite
genome web pages hosted by EBI.

The pages may be found at :-

http://www.ebi.ac.uk/parasites/LGN/FriedlinProteome/proteome.html

These web pages are equivalent to the previously announced "Leishmania
Proteome Classification and Analysis" web pages but only include data from
the Leishmania Genome Network reference strain Leishmania major Friedlin.

The pages are updated on a regular basis and currently include:-

- a functional catalogue of all current L. major Friedlin protein
sequences

- a facility to search the L. major Friedlin protein sequence titles and
additional annotation for any string of letters and/or numbers

- a catalogue of L. major Friedlin protein sequences placed in key
biochemical pathways

- a catalogue of L. major Friedlin protein sequences placed in general
protein/enzyme classes

- a facility to search the L. major Friedlin protein sequences using a
user defined motif

- a catalogue of Pfam domains found in L. major Friedlin

A catalogue of L. major Friedlin protein sequences placed according to
sub-cellular localisation will follow in the near future.

Please send comments, suggestions and questions to Martin Aslett
(aslett at ebi.ac.uk) and Al Ivens (alicat at sanger.ac.uk).

Thanks,
