One of my Sudanese PhD students, El-Safi, described a case that looked like 
anergic DCL in the paper we published in Trans R Soc Trop Med Hyg (1991) 
85:457-464. This was in the middle of the big epidemic of L.major that 
occurred around Khartoum in the late 1980's. If you mail me your current
