Positions are available at the University of Heidelberg for either
post-docs or graduate students. Previous knowledge of German is not at all
necessary, but some knowledge of molecular biology is essential. Heidelberg
has one of the best environments in Europe for cell biology and molecular
biology.

Subjects are:

1. Biochemistry and regulation of ribonucleotide reductase in trypanosomes.
The work will be done in the biochemistry center in the laboratory of Luise
Krauth-Siegel. Genetic manipulation will be done in collaboration with
Christine Claytons lab in the Center for Molecular Biology (ZMBH). (Vacancy
for one post-doc or two grad. students) address:

2. Inducible expression and repression of genes involved in RNA editing.
Collaboration with Ken Stuart (Seattle) and Ullrich Goeringer (Munchen).
(one PhD student), position at the ZMBH with Christine Clayton.

3. Christine Clayton also has a vacancy for someone to work on regulation
of gene expression or trypanosome cell biology. (PhD student).
