 This is to inform you that starting with volume 93 (1998) the web-site of
the "Memorias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz" has been redesigned. In addition
to being able to browse articles in HTML format, starting with volume 93 it
will also be possible to download articles in PDF format. This format
allows articles to  be read and printed exactly as they appear in the
printed version of the journal. Further details including   how to obtain
the Acrobat program , which is required for reading the PDF format, are
available at the Memorias web-site.

Also available at the redesigned website is an expanded news and events
section, where details of conferences, courses, other events and positions
vacant can be found . This service is also available for those who which to
announce such activities.

The  full text and illustrations of the
"Memorias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz"  Issue 93(1) January-February 1998 is now
