Leishmaniasis in dogs

Hi Thomas,

Here in Spain, the leishmaniosis is an endemic disease, with a very high 
incidence in the zone of the coast of the mediterranian sea, the same as 
in Italy and france.

Your dog is very well attended, its leishmaniosis was correctly 
diagnosed and correctly treated.

Here, in Spain we use an antimonial (Glucantime) combined with  
Allopurinol.

In approximately a 30 - 40  % of the cases the animals are cured. ( I 
hope your dog will be in this 30 - 40).
