Have you contacted Paul Kaye about flow cytometry of pros yet?  If 
not I have performed FACS analysis on promastigotes ( in Paul Kayes 
labs) and would be happy to tell you about our protocol.  You can find 
me in room 238B at the School, extn.  2285.
