[Tropmed-l] Travel Medicine - African trypansomiasis in Argentina

A 65 year old man was admitted to hospital 14 days after his return from Zambia with a fever. He was diagnosed as having acute African trypansomiasis caused by Trypanosoma brucei rhodesiense and died a few days after from ventricular arrhythmia.
