CAT AND RODENT)

Dear Drs.
Firstly, I wish to thank all members of this list for
helping about Feline Citokines.
My second problem: I"ll accomplish a study
about phlebotomine-host preference among dog, cat and rodents in the Pacoti
council (Ceará State, Brazil). This study is a part of the a main research
about feline leishmaniasis (experimental infection and epidemiology). It will
be the first time that I'll work with phlebotomines. Several manuscripts
report the influence of the CO2 and others substances in this kind of the
trial. Now, the "body surface area" of the hosts (dog, cat and rodent) is my
major care. Is there any formula for measurament of this "body surface area"
of mammals for this purpose? Dou you have any suggestion for this
trial?
Thank you
Best regards
Lucilene Simões-Mattos
