[Carlos Brisola Marcondes]

Dear all,
I greatly regreat this.
   I have followed and admired her work since the 1970s, when she worked
with Jorge Rabinovich on life tables of Triatomine bugs.
  She was a very kind person, and we had much contact by post and internet,
and I only met her once, in Worldleish at Pernambuco.
   She made a great contribution to medical entomology, and, as I
communicated her recently, the third edition of "Entomologia Médica e
Veterinária" will be dedicated to her. She told me she was very grateful
for this.
