[Leish-l] Leishmaniasis - sand fly or sandfly or sand-fly?

I entirely agree with Bob's arguments: The most appropriate term is
undoubtedly "phlebotomine sand flies"; that is, "sand flies" as two
words (indicating that it is a Diptera), always preceded by
"phlebotomine" (to differentiate from other Nematocera that are
sometimes also referred to "sand flies"). 

I would be glad to see the consistent use of "phlebotomine sand flies"
in the scientific literature.
