Onderwerp: [Leish-l] LeishPub: a historical bibliographic database aboutLeishmania, leishmaniases and sandflies
Dear colleagues,
This is to let you know that our laboratory has been able to scan a
part of the large collection of historical reprints left by Pr
Jean-Antoine Rioux, and to make these available online. You can
therefore (just by leaving your name and e-mail address) download
these reprints as you wish.
LeishPub therefore constitutes a bibliographic database that gives
access to more than 3500 scientific articles, most of them being old
papers (starting from 1832) and from diverse geographical origins, on
Leishmania, leishmaniases and sandflies. Many of them are not in
english and remain untranslated, yet may represent interesting pieces
of history.
The website to access the database is : http://www.leishpub.univ-montp1.fr/
We have tried to make it simple (and bilingual English+French), but
you may also access an advanced (multicriteria) search button for
complex retrievals.
Apart from the initial effort from Pr Rioux, I wish to acknowledge the
essential help of Yves Balard, Diana Tentchev, Dr Jacques Dereure and
Pr Jean-Pierre Dedet for setting up this database.
I wish you a useful and joyful search through our database.
And if you see any improvements to be done (and I know there are
certainly many), please do not hesitate to let me know.
Regards
P. Bastien
