[Leish-l] Leishmaniasis looses one of its icons - Bob Killick-Kendrick

It is so sad.  We all have to go sooner or later, but for some it is always too soon - Bob was certainly one of those. As his knowledge and contributions to our field, his warmth, presence, personality and love for life and for Mireille  was huge.  We lost a dear friend and our thoughts are with Mireille.

He travelled extensively on field projects all over the world and together with Prof Rioux was seminal in understanding the ecology of leishmaniasis in the Southern France where lived.
