Dear Dr. Shaw,
Many thanks for the videos... I want to remember Prof Bob
Killick-Kendrick as in these videos!.
I saw him at ISOPS 7 in Turkey. When I arrived, I looked for him. Nicole
told me he was very sick! However, he joined the symposium and, as always,
he was cheerful and affectionate with everyone.
Shortly before leaving for a field work, about two weeks ago, I learned the
sad news, but I was not able to write anything. Now, I want to express my
sorrow for such an irreparable loss to science, and for many of us who
were lucky to have him as mentor at Imperial College.
