POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Leishmania Proteomics

Following the award of a project grant from the Biotechnology and
Biological Sciences Research Council, applications are invited for a
post, based in the Heart Science Centre.  The project is funded for 3
years under the BBSRC Genomics in Animal Function Initiative and will
use a proteomic approach to characterise stage specific changes in
protein expression associated with developmental stages of several
species of the Leishmania parasite.

Applicants should have either experience in proteomics (2-D gel
electrophoresis, mass spectrometry) or a background in trypanosome
biology, where training in proteomics will be provided.
