Sex differences and leishmaniasis

Dear Ms. de Lorenzo:
Age sex differences in humans are most often associated with differences
in contact with the vector. Human heritability of susceptibility as well
as age or sexual differences may be expected to be important, but the
effects of localized phlebotomine sand fly behavior must be removed from
the analysis.
	sincerely,
		Leonard E. Munstermann
