Question on Trypanosoma Cruzi

I would like to know whether there is an animal (e.g. dog)
that exhibits a high ability to control infections with Trypanosoma Cruzi
This is related to the recent discovery that the African Buffalo shows 
this ability with respect to Trypanosoma brucei brucei and they found in its
serum a novel trypanocidal protein.
