To All Interested Leishmaniacs:
We have now set up a 'sub-gopher' site within the
Leishmaniasis Network Gopher. This can be reached by typing
'gopher bdt.ftpt.br' at your Unix prompt.
Ultimately this will contain announcements about the
Leishmania genome project, and information about
probes, strains, resources, investigators, references, etc.
It is embryonic at this stage and suggestions are welcome; they can be
sent to Steve Beverley (sbeverle at warren.med.harvard.edu) who is
currently the LGP coordinator. Please be patient as I am just learning
gopherspeak. Also thanks to Sidnei Souza and Jeff Shaw for the help.
Currently the gopher site contains WHO announcements and reports of the
Trypanosomatid genome projects meeting, held in Rio de Janeiro in April
1994.
